I’m a Cancer Victor, Not a Cancer Survivor

“I’m a cancer victor, not a cancer survivor.”

That’s how she says it.

Not survivor.

Victor.

Years earlier…

she had watched a close friend go through it.

The treatments.

The decline.

She didn’t forget that.

So when it happened to her…

she made a different decision.

Not an easy one.

Not a quick one.

But over time…

things began to change.

Her strength came back.

Her energy too.

People noticed.

They didn’t expect it.
