Cocoa for Younger Looking Skin
A study published in the Journal of Nutrition found women who consumed 320 milligrams of cocoa flavanols daily saw decreases in skin roughness, as well as improvements in skin elasticity and facial wrinkles.
The researchers believe the antioxidants found in cocoa were responsible for these benefits.
"In moderately photo-aged women, regular cocoa flavanol consumption had positive effects on facial wrinkles and elasticity. Cocoa flavanol supplementation may contribute to the prevention of the progression of photo-aging." - Journal of Nutrition
