My Bulletproof and Primal Egg Coffee Recipe


Do you drink coffee? 

If so, you'll love this recipe. 

When I told my brother-in-law about it, he said it tasted like "rainbows, unicorns and sunshine."

Five to six times a week, I put the following healthy fats in my coffee:
  • a spoonful of coconut oil

  • a spoonful of butter

  • heavy whipping cream

That's it. Sometimes, I'll also add an egg. It's like drinking a quick meal and it's easy to do.

The healthy fats keep my appetite satisfied for hours. I usually will not feel like eating until mid afternoon. Often that will be the time I only eat all day.

It's all because the bulletproof coffee is so satisfying.
 
I put all of the ingredients in a cup and stir while it's hot, dissolving them in the coffee. (I do not use a blender. It's something else to clean and more work for me.)


I also don't add sweetener or sugar. But that's just me. 


This recipe for my coffee keeps me satisfied for hours and hours, since good healthy fats take your body a long time to digest. It suppresses my appetite and is like combining breakfast and lunch together. A liquid brunch. 


I'm not sleepy or drowsy like you can be afterwards from eating some meals, especially high carb ones. 

Your brain is seventy percent fat. This bulletproof, primal egg coffee feeds your brain healthy fats and helps your cognitive function too.

Note: It does not matter if you drink caffeinated or decaffeinated coffee.
