Fructose Can Cause Liver Damage Without Weight Gain
Almost every processed food contains high fructose corn syrup (HFCS).
A new study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition shows this sweetener can directly cause liver damage, without causing weight gain.
"What surprised us the most was how quickly the liver was affected and how extensive the damage was, especially without weight gain as a factor," Kylie Kavanagh, D.V.M., said.

"Is a calorie a calorie? Are they all created equal? Based on this study, we would say not."
All calories are not the same and high fructose corn syrup is plain bad news. Do everything you can to avoid it.
