Acid Indigestion, Sinus Infection and Colitis

"In the spring of 2001, I turned 63 yrs. young with only two major health concerns, one of them being acid reflux. Many times food would stick in my esophagus, causing excruciating pain for hours on end. I had heartburn, pain in the upper abdomen and chest, a sick feeling, acid taste in the mouth, bloating, belching, and a burning pain when swallowing cold drinks. Discontinues Taking Coumadin
"In November of 2007, the doctor wanted me to take Coumadin because of blood clotting on the lung three weeks after surgery.

Ulcerative Colitis, Cancer and More
My name is Emily French. I'm a young (22 yrs) mother of three beautiful boys. My husband is currently on Active Duty orders through the Army National Guard. Before I married David, I went through nursing school so I could work if I needed to.
After our first son was born, everything seemed to be perfect. Then shortly after came baby number two. During that pregnancy, I began to have a few problems. I had never been sick in my life, so I wasn't quite sure what to do. So for several months, I didn't do anything.
The baby came a month early and was in breech position, so I had an emergency C-section. For a few days everything seemed really good, but by the fourth day home, I had to go back into the hospital and leave my newborn and 18 month old son with their grandma and dad.

However, I continued to be very ill and hospitalized three weeks out of every month for the next two years. After the major intestinal surgery, I began developing adhesive obstructions. So I would have a surgery to fix the affects of the last surgery and just basically kept chasing my tail and having a lot of major surgeries.
Then something happened that wasn't supposed to - I got pregnant. I spent most of my pregnancy in the hospital and was on bed rest from the day I found out. He finally came nine weeks early and was healthy.
After he was born, things seemed to be going well. I get scoped monthly to check out how my intestines are doing. Two weeks before David was supposed to go back for some more military schooling, the doctors found six large tumors.
David was already gone when the results came back as a very bad form of malignant cancer. Within just a matter of days, it had spread to covering 98 percent of my liver, 78 percent of my left kidney and 15 feet of my small intestine.
At this point I was terrified, especially because my husband was gone and the chemo was making me really ill. It was at that point that a friend introduced me to BarleyLife.
And after four weeks and a whole lot of prayer, the cancer is gone.
This was a type of cancer that usually doesn't respond to treatment at all, so they basically said that I would live no more than four years, if I was lucky. Cancer - Why? And Where to Now?
My name is Lloyd Johnson. I am 66 years old and am writing this in December of 2004. I'm a cancer survivor.
I am going to tell you a true story about how this word 'cancer' suddenly ended my 'normal' life and changed my whole world. I was never the same again. It changed me emotionally, physically and mentally. I was forced to face the possibility of my life ending and I was shocked! The world became a different place and many times, I did not fit in it.
Emotionally, I was forced to think of the consequences of sickness and death. I had always been a 'strong' man's man and this is one place I avoided and just would never let these thoughts be part of me. Now here I was…what to do?
Physically, I changed in many ways and surprisingly, in some ways became much better because of this ordeal. Mentally, I changed into a person with a purpose. I was driven to find a way…
Well, let me tell you the story.
December 15, 2000, I went to my doctor to have a PSA test. Four days later, they called me to come in and review my test results. I don’t remember a lot about that day, but I remember his words, 'You have prostate cancer.' My PSA count was 9.7 and he would operate only if it remained below ten.
I was stunned! Things kept running through my head…Operation? Is this the end? How did this happen? Why me? Should I notify the family? Will I work again? How to make it through Christmas?
January 2001 came - finally and way too soon. I went into the cancer clinic for a biopsy. (Not the least bit pleasant).
Next, a visit to my surgeon, who explained my options. It was all so new to me and I had too many thoughts running through my head. Thank goodness my wife was there. She was able to pick up all the info that I was missing. My options were all horrid and unacceptable… How could I say 'Yes, do this to my body.'?
Regardless, I had to choose: (1) Operation to remove the Prostate (2) Bracci Therapy - Radiation seeds (3) Radiation.
Decision time… We had to make this unbelievable decision, about something we had never ever heard of one month ago. The decision came through feelings of fear: Radiation was totally unacceptable, as I was convinced that the treatment would destroy more than the cancer cells (although at this point I wasn’t sure about anything). That left the operation - it kind of made sense to have the cancer removed and thus end the problem…Wrong!
The operation was done and we were assured that everything went really well - they had gotten all the cancer and everything else was intact - but that was not the case.
I was at home for about a month to heal and then was told to go for another PSA test. My count was .05 this time and although it was way down, it should have been at 0. I was having all kinds of other problems as well. Incontinence, sexual dysfunction, mood swings (removal of the prostate causes hormonal imbalance). Life was a challenge.
Another meeting with the surgeon. This time he advised me to have radiation. I couldn't stop thinking of my mother who had breast cancer and had gone through radiation. It had been horrible. I was twenty-one at the time and hated what it did to her. I couldn't go through with radiation.
I realized that even before the operation, I had been thinking of some way to beat this with natural products but had trusted that the operation would take care of everything.
If I had known then what I have learned since, I would never have had the operation. This is why - prostate cancer is the slowest growing cancer. Radiation destroys good cells and harms organs along with crippling the immune system that is needed to fight the cancer. (Very strange way to cure a disease - my opinion.)
Now it began - my search for the right stuff to get this thing under control! I talked to a lot of people. People with cancer. People with opinions. Everyone had a cure. I spent a lot of time on the Internet and learned as much as I could. I became more convinced that there was another way. I tried many different ‘wonder cures’ for about a year but my PSA count kept going up.
February 2002. I was back to work, operating a D7 Cat in Vancouver, BC. All my co-workers knew of my problems. One day my boss, Rob, told me about a lady he had met that told him about a product called BarleyLife. He said there were reports of it helping with cancer. He brought some to work for me to try.

I was having all kinds of other problems as well. Incontinence, sexual dysfunction, mood swings (removal of the prostate causes hormonal imbalance). Life was a challenge.
Another meeting with the surgeon. This time he advised me to have radiation. I couldn't stop thinking of my mother who had breast cancer and had gone through radiation. It had been horrible. I was twenty-one at the time and hated what it did to her. I couldn't go through with radiation.

"A CAT scan revealed that I had Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. There was a cancerous mass in my abdomen and the lymph glands in my lower torso were also affected. I became a patient at the Mercy Hospital Cancer Clinic.

Bone Cancer - Barley Juice Powder Benefits

I did have one medical intervention during my cancer. In February 1998, I had eighty-six seeds of iridium 125 implanted into my body. This provides localized radiation into the cancer cells.
Since insertion of the seeds, I've had regular checkups. My PSA remains below one. I have x-rays and CAT scans as needed and so far, there has been no return of cancer.
However, I do not believe that this treatment alone caused my complete recovery. I believe that the natural approach I adopted was very instrumental.
At my last test, the doctor reviewed my file and was discussing how this treatment was affecting me. Naturally, I didn’t mention to him my natural approach. He was so amazed and fascinated with the latest results, he let out a whoop of joy!
Then he went out with me to the waiting room. He was so excited and was telling everyone out in the hall what had happened. He was acting like I was his prize patient. The bottom line was that there was no indication of cancer. His words were, "There is no cancer straight ahead, no cancer to the left, no cancer to the right. We're going to back out because there is no cancer anywhere to be found!"
His excitement really affected me. I had just been taking my recovery passively, but now I was excited also. I was convinced my recovery was real and complete.
Since then, I have not stopped. I presently run two businesses. This is very taxing, but I'm able to keep up every day. I require less sleep than before and I do not feel drug out at any time during the day.
Right now, I take about 2 ½ Tbsp. of AIM BarleyLife per day, some days as much as 5-6 Tbsp. per day. It just depends on if I want a little bit of a boost. I also take the Garden Trio about three times a week.
During my thirty day juice fast, I took 10-15 Tbsp. of BarleyLife every day, along with my juicing. After the thirty days, I cut back to 5-9 Tbsp. per day. Since then, I've cut back again. I also take Proancynol 2000, ReAssure, Herbal Fiberblend, and several other AIM products.
