Death by McNuggets?
Seventeen year-old Stacey Irvine was recently rushed to a hospital after collapsing and struggling for breath.
Upon further examination, she was found to have a low red blood cell count and swollen veins in her tongue.
The doctors, concerned that a healthy looking teenager could be so severely malnourished, inquired about her diet. They found she lived on Chicken McNuggets, fries, an occasional slice of toast and chips.
She had never eaten fruits or vegetables in her life.
According to her mother, "Her doctors told her in no uncertain terms that she'll die if she carries on like this. But she says she can't eat anything else."
As the father of a four year-old picky eater, I know it's not easy to get your kids to eat healthy.

Hopefully, this teenage girl and her mother will get things turned around before it's too late.
