The Price of Thinness

According to Dr. Michael Eades, M.D., when a person goes from being normal weight to overweight, it's a sign that something is broken metabolically.

And once that 'energy furnace' is broken, it's extremely difficult to lose weight and keep it off without effort.

Dr. Eades encourages people to try and not become overweight in the first place. Easier said than done, I know.

But if you're currently overweight, the way to lose weight and keep it off is with a low-carb diet.

He also says to overcome the urge to eat more carbohydrates, we must first do it through effort. Then ultimately, it will become a habit.

And finally, Dr. Eades believes that 'eternal vigilance is the price of thinness,' particularly if you're overweight.

In other words, you pretty much can never allow yourself to cheat, because consuming weight gaining carbs causes you to want to eat even more carbs.

Long-term weight loss is not a quick-fix. It requires effort and a lifestyle change.
