Are Flu Shots Effective?

A recent study in The Lancet shows that flu shots are only 59 percent effective in adults - not enough to protect people in an outbreak.

"Today's flu shot is like an iPhone 1.0," says study author Michael Osterholm of the University of Minnesota.

"What we need is an iPhone 10.0."

Basically, the experts are saying, "It's no guarantee, but get the flu shot anyway."

And to that I say,"No thanks."
