Is Your Kid Fat?

As the father of a four year-old son, I want to do everything I can to help my little man grow up to be healthy.

And though my picky little eater is not the least bit overweight, I want to make sure he continues to stay this way.

So I read the following with interest. I like what the author had to say about exercise and how it relates to weight and obesity:

"I spent a year researching the issue and could not find any evidence that obese kids are less active than lean kids. None." - Fred Hahn, health and fitness author

Are you to tell your growing son or daughter to eat less and go hungry?

It's not natural. Kids (and adults) want to eat until they're full and satisfied.

The key is to make sure they're consuming the right foods that they were created to eat. (Hint: Protein)
