Why Eat Any Other Way?

Weight doesn't matter - it's excess fat that matters. Muscle weighs more than fat. Losing a lot of weight often means you're also losing a lot of muscle - and that's not good. This is especially common with low-calorie diets.

Because the heart is made of muscle, just like other muscles, it too is damaged by extreme weight loss.

That's why disorders like anorexia cause so many medical problems, even death. Severe weight loss can result in silent organ injury that can surface years later, leading to events like kidney and heart failure.

Most people abandon diets - not because they don't work, but because they forbid too many of their favorite foods. People demand that their meals taste delicious.

And that's the biggest problem - people see eating as a major form of entertainment.

The other problem is that so many diets are high in sugar and carbohydrates, in order to relieve depression. Sugar becomes their drug of choice.

But Omega-3 fats can correct depression and aid in weight loss.

One study even showed that omega-3 fats (N-3 fats) actually reduce the number of fat cells.

People who follow a proper diet can feel so much better. They have more energy, think more clearly and many of their aches and pains disappear.
