Is surfing the web to blame for obesity?

A new study points the finger for overweight risk squarely at the computer monitor.

According to published findings in the Journal of Medical Internet Research, people who spend more time in front of the computer have an increased risk of obesity - even if those people believe they get enough exercise.

Australian researchers found that frequent Internet users were 2.5 times more likely to be obese, than those who didn't log on at all.
