5 Simple Steps to Avoid The H1N1 Swine Flu

Lately, it seems the news media is putting a lot of emphasis on the H1N1 flu, also known as the swine flu.

I sometimes wonder if the swine flu panic is worse than the outbreak itself?

Anyway, following are five simple steps you can take to help you avoid the swine flu:
  1. If a tissue is not available, use your elbow when you cough or sneeze.
  2. Wash your hands twenty seconds or more, several times a day.
  3. Keep a distance from people who are sick.
  4. Keep fingers out your eyes, mouth and nose. That's where the H1N1 goes.
  5. Keep your immune system strong by getting enough sleep, drinking water and eating nine or more fruits and veggies a day.
I know these five steps may seem too simple.

But it's common sense steps like these that can go a long way towards helping you prevent getting the H1N1 swine flu.
