What I Learned (Cancer and The Death of My Father)

When I was in college, my grandfather was diagnosed with lung cancer. My mother and I helped take care of him in his home, along with help from Hospice.

Eight long months later, he died.

A few years later, a friend of mine died of leukemia. He was just thirty-two years old. He left behind a wife who was eight months pregnant.

Not too long after that, my father was diagnosed with severe emphysema. He was hooked up to an oxygen machine, sick and disabled for the next eight years of his life. He ended up dying of cancer.

After I saw what happened to my grandfather, my friend and my dad, I decided I didn't want to end up like that.

And now that we have a little boy, I want to do everything I can to make sure I'm around to watch him grow up.

So I began to read and study in the field of health and nutrition.

Now I want to share what I've learned with you.
