She Thought It Was a Scam

She thought it was a scam.

That’s what it sounded like to her.

A green powder.

Big claims.

The kind of thing most people would throw away.

And she almost did.

Her name was Janet Pauly.

She was a registered nurse.

And by that point, doctors had already tried everything they could.

Years of treatments.

Radiation.

Investigational drugs.

Eventually, she was told there was nothing left to try.

She was sent home.

No more appointments.

Then a friend mailed her something unusual.

A sandwich bag filled with green powder.

Along with a cassette tape explaining what it was.

Janet didn’t know what to think.

It sounded ridiculous to her.

But she didn’t have many options left.

So she tried it.

A few days later, something felt different.

Not all at once.

But enough to notice.

So she kept going.

Over time, things kept improving.

Little by little.

She later said she slowly started feeling more like herself again.

I remember hearing her story for the first time.

I couldn’t ignore it.

It made me curious.

And honestly…

sometimes curiosity is where everything starts.
