Some Children Refuse Vegetables. Ana Leigh Was Different.

Ana Leigh

Rebekah Ford grew up using barley grass products as a child herself.

So when she became a mother, introducing BarleyLife Xtra to her daughter felt natural.

What surprised her was how much Ana Leigh seemed to enjoy it.

According to Rebekah, Ana refused many foods commonly offered to young children.

Fruits.

Yogurt.

Other healthy foods.

But BarleyLife Xtra was different.

Rebekah described Ana willingly opening her mouth for it and responding positively to the taste.

She typically prepared it as a small paste using a half teaspoon mixed with a little water.

She began offering it to Ana when she was about four months old.

Rebekah also shared that Ana stayed very healthy growing up.

Even before becoming a mother herself, she often suggested BarleyLife Xtra to friends who struggled to get their children to eat vegetables.

Many parents were hesitant at first.

Later, while working with her husband at an orphanage in Africa, Rebekah found creative ways to help children become more open to greens and vegetables, even when they initially resisted them.

Sometimes presentation matters more than parents realize.

Children often become more open to nutrition when it feels positive, simple, and familiar.
