The Woman Who Created Herbal Fiberblend
Before Teresa Schumacher created Herbal Fiberblend, she nearly lost her own health.
And long before that…
she nearly lost her life.
During World War II, fourteen-year-old Teresa was trapped beneath rubble after Allied bombs destroyed the building where she was working in Naples, Italy.
For three days, she and another young girl survived buried beneath the wreckage.
Everyone else in the building died.
Years later, Teresa would describe surviving that experience as part of a larger purpose:
helping other people.
After moving to the United States and raising five children, Teresa began struggling with severe digestive and colon problems.
She believed the shift from a traditional Mediterranean diet to processed American foods played a major role.
Her health became so bad she said there was a period where she could barely walk.
That experience eventually pushed her to begin studying:
Fiber.
Herbs.
Nutrition.
And digestive health.
As Teresa experimented with combinations of fiber and herbs, she began helping other people struggling with digestive issues too.
Word spread quickly.
Soon, thousands of dollars of her natural formulations were being sold every month through word-of-mouth alone.
Around that same time, Teresa discovered barley grass powder from The AIM Companies.
Eventually, her digestive formula became what is now known as Herbal Fiberblend.
Decades later, it remains one of AIM’s most popular products.
What makes Teresa’s story so powerful is that Herbal Fiberblend was not created in a corporate boardroom.
It came from someone desperately trying to solve her own health problems first.
Even later in life, Teresa continued teaching nutritional courses and helping people improve their health.
Her advice remained simple:
“Try to stay healthy so you can keep helping people.”
