Janice Gravely graduated from UCLA with a degree in English.

She later became an international speaker and author.

But most people know her because of one life-changing moment.

While flying with her husband in a small airplane, tragedy struck.

Her husband died at the controls mid-flight.

Janice did not know how to fly the plane.
