Regarding Protein Powders


Protein isolates are heavily processed. Their impact on health is a subject of some debate in holistic circles.

While I do not believe they are downright terrible, I do believe there are less heavily processed and more nourishing options out there. 

One of them is pea protein.

This is a favorite among raw athletes. With choices like this, why would anyone seek out highly processed and unnaturally sweetened powders?

Here is a delicious Verry Berry Smoothie (with a nice hint of chocolate) for you:
  • 1 cup mixed berries 

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk 

  • 1 scoop ProPeas

  • Sweetened with Stevia 

  • 1 teaspoon Cocoa Leaf Greens 

  • 1 teaspoon Just Carrots 

  • 1 teaspoon RediBeets 

  • 5 ice cubes
Blend well and enjoy!
