Woman Damages Seven Vehicles

A Friday morning fender-bending spree ended with what Lt. Danny Moody of the Conway Police Department said was the most vehicles damaged by a single person he could recall.
Moody said Conway woman Jennifer Starkey Spaeth, 32, damaged six vehicles, not including her own, while attempting to leave an East Oak Street Sonic drive-in restaurant in her 2001 Saturn.
A full report was not available at press time, but Moody said evidence and witness statements indicate that Spaeth was backing out of a Sonic parking space when she struck a black Chevrolet Impala. She then hit a maroon Hyundai, temporarily locking her Saturn's bumper with the Korean car.
After powering free, she struck a red Pontiac Grand Am, which rebounded into a Sonic menu board.
Spaeth then exited the restaurant. While attempting to turn onto East Oak Street, she struck two eastbound vehicles, a white Volvo in the inside lane and a gold Mercury Grand Marquis in the outside lane. The odyssey of body damage ended when Spaeth struck her sixth and final vehicle of the morning, a blue Ford Ranger parked in a nearby Shell fuel station parking lot.
She was issued citations for DWI drugs, reckless driving and no proof of insurance. Both Spaeth and the driver of the Grand Marquis, Janet Lonon, 55, of Russellville, were transported to Conway Regional Medical Center, where they were treated and released Friday.
